Our courses are ideal for students young or old and of varying ability level. We value diversity – male students are encouraged to apply.
Mandatory modules - In all our courses the students must take three mandatory modules:

Basic anatomy and physiology: Before touching a client’s skin, nails or hair, students must learn human anatomy and physiology, diseases and disorders of hair, skin, and nails and contraindications to beauty treatments.

Safety, hygiene and ethics: Sanitisation and sterilisation has always been a key component of any beauty salon. Now more so in the covid19 era. We also train our therapists the importance of maintaining high ethical standards in the provision of beauty treatments.

The business of beauty: The motto of the beauty academy is “enter to learn, leave to earn”. Our goal is to produce beauty entrepreneurs with a global mindset who can contribute to the economy, provide excellent service to their clients, become employers and create new product lines.

Make-up Artistry
Our Beauty Academy flagship course can be taken as a 10-day continuous course or as a two-month part-time course. Students learn Bridal/Roora day makeup, Special occasion makeup, Media and photographic Makeup, Fantasy/Theatrical Makeup. The emphasis of this course is two-fold, teaching skilful makeup application and offering a deeper understanding of makeup as a business. The content of this course has been masterfully and thoughtfully curated to create makeup entrepreneurs. This is what sets our course apart from the rest. We engage industry experts in makeup product line creation, makeup application, and retailing makeup products. As a participating sponsor of the Zaron Battle of the Makeup Artist competition, we have access to leading trends in skincare, makeup products, and techniques.

Nail Tech
Learn everything there is to know about the exciting world of nail extensions. Start off in our manicure and pedicure class learning first how to care for the natural nail. Advance to artificial nail extensions with the classics, french tips, press on, and naturals. Finish off with the modern designs: sculpted, ombres, hard gel, and let your creativity shine as you top off your training with advanced nail art including marbles, sections, stamping, transfers to mention a few.

Facials
Join our advanced skincare course and gain the necessary skills set to complete in-depth skin analysis, deep cleanse, tone, masque, and deliver a specialised facial massage. This course is designed for those looking to offer effective facial skin care treatments to clients, teaching both the theoretical knowledge and practical skills to competently perform an exceptional facial treatment.

This course is designed for those looking to learn how to safely and successfully carry out a variety of waxing treatments. You will be taught the theoretical knowledge and safety procedures involved in practicing these treatments to an industry standard. You will additionally be taught specialised, female and male intimate waxing treatments which are in high demand.

Eyelash Extensions
Our Individual Eyelash Extensions Course is designed to teach you the popular technique, to enhance the eyes with synthetic extensions to give the appearance of longer, thicker natural lashes. Not only will you learn how to effectively apply and remove lash extensions, you will also learn how to accurately adapt the application process to the client’s particular eye shape, for the desired effect. You will also learn to tint natural lashes as a technique to prep the lashes for the best possible lash extension look, to help blend the false and natural lashes. During the course you will carry out treatments upon a professional training mannequin head, allowing you the maximum the time possible to acquire the skills and work on your technique.

Massage
Our comprehensive Holistic Massage course teaches how to effectively heal the body through touch. Understand anatomy and physiology. Learn the classic Swedish massage, deep tissue, and hotstone for a start. Advance to manual lymphatic drainage, myofascial release and energy work. Massage is the staple of the spa industry and a must have for all beauty Therapists.

Hairdressing
Our hairdressing course is designed to equip you with the necessary skill set to work on both Ethnic and Caucasian hair. We cover shampooing, blow waving, braiding and weaving, hair cutting, chemical processing, hair colouring, blow waving, dreadlock installation and head massage among others. Learn in depth trichology which will allow you to properly analyse the hair, pick the most suitable products to care for your clients’ hair and offer the best advice.
